Senior Customer Success Manager, Benelux
Job Overview:We're looking for a Principal/ Senior-level Customer Success individual to join the team as our next Customer Success Executive (CSE). Our Customer Success team advises and guides our wide array of enterprise customers as they map any number of business needs to Zendesk. We are the faces of the house of Zen(desk) - genuinely compassionate, strategic-minded, organized and dedicated.Fulfilling this role means you are entrusted with the relationships, strategy, and product health for Zendesk’s top accounts. A Customer Success Executive is an experience-maker for our customers; passionate about working with large enterprises to make Zendesk the common thread that transforms their business.Responsibilities:· To drive commercial and technical success for your customers from their investment in Zendesk products and services· Collaborate with your peers in Customer Success, Sales, Support, Product, and throughout Zendesk to ensure our customers are getting the ROI out of the Zendesk platform· Work with our awesome Sales Executives to make sure customers have the Zendesk resources they need· Maintain product expertise across the Zendesk product line· Produce quality decks on at least a quarterly basis to showcase customer growth, trends, and product/ industry maturity· Respond to high profile, high-impact customer escalations in a fashion that inspires confidence and continued customer loyalty· Coach new Customer Success team members on Zendesk’s own customer service programRelevant Backgrounds (bonus if you have both!):· Experience managing an enterprise book of business or related experience caring for and advising a set of customers/ clients· Experience leading a world class customer care team and driving strategic initiatives for a global Contact CenterKey things we’re going to be looking for in your CV and assessing you on include:· 8+ years of Customer Success or related consulting experience providing strategic business advice to Enterprise/ Global customers· Background of working at similar SaaS/ technology companies or consultancy businesses· Experienced in articulating the business value of implementing specific products and its functionality· Change management/ business transformation; proven experience in driving CX centred business transformation initiatives within your customer portfolio· Ability to navigate across complex customer organisations forging solid relationships with C-Level, senior management, and other key decision makers and influencers· Passionate about how customer service can transform a business· Love for teamwork and commitment to building a world-class, enterprise-class global customer experience together· Knowledge of common Customer Experience solutions (including but not limited to WFM, Messaging, QA, etc.)· Experience with Zendesk or similar platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, BI tools) a HUGE plus· Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs· Excellent executive-level verbal, written, and presentation skills· Fluent Dutch (to business level: verbal and written). We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented Marketing Manager, who is excited about the direction Zendesk is headed and wants to join a fast-growing company. This person will be a master of execution and creator of content. You will help us position the product for business growth and tell the ‘Why Zendesk’ story in the Customer Service space through all aspects of the product, marketing, and sales channels.Working closely with other areas of the business you will form the campaign strategy, enable the sales teams to tell a compelling story and activate our brand across multiple marketing channels for the Zendesk platform.Positioned locally, managed from Copenhagen, and working daily with colleagues in the London and Dublin.... This is an opportunity to take a solidly established brand and accelerate growth across the Benelux region, including Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, through a series of new product introductions over the next few years.Responsibilities:
- Deliver audience targeted and market segmented campaigns and programs into the Benelux region
- Develop content strategies for acquiring market share, sales and expansion in the region – including elements such as live and online events, direct mail, email, web, advertising, and sales support materials
- Measure marketing activity effectiveness, report on Marketing KPIs (client- and prospect-focused marketing metrics), balance budget (accountability for), and optimise resources to deliver maximum ROI whilst meeting regional Booking and pipeline goals
- Understand global campaign roadmap and local market needs to determine which elements should be deployed in-region and which new materials need to be created
- Set, drive and align field marketing priorities with local sales teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or a related technical field
- 5+ years’ experience with solutions marketing, solutions consulting or product marketing in B2B or B2C market
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills
- Verbally articulate and skilled at telling a story
- Fluent in English and Dutch, including a passion for digital content
- Strong analytical skills and passion for analysing products, competitors, and market dynamics
- Ability to lead and drive business growth for an entire region
- Ability to work independently and as a key member of multiple teams
- Ability to build relationships with industry influencers and clients

Zendesk's Manager for the Benelux region will have full ownership and responsibility for managing team sales activities. You will play the key role in ensuring the achievement of significant revenue growth targets that support the company's objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic market.As an outstanding and experienced Sales Leader, you will develop and execute a multi-faceted sales strategy to gain market share and build the highest levels of customer and team satisfaction.Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership, vision and direction for the sales team and broader Zendesk sales organization
- Continue to grow and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team
- Be accountable for the attainment of assigned new customer acquisition and financial performance targets
- Track and analyse sales activities to understand and capitalise on buying trends and patterns
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of Zendesk solutions while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Establish policies, processes and procedures that will ensure revenue growth
- Roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary for the customer and your team
Requirements
- Innovative and results-driven senior sales executive with strong software/tech sales experience, preferably with SaaS exposure
- Experience leading enterprise sales organisations in an SMB and mid market focussed, high-volume model
- Must have a proven track record of success, driving revenue growth against quota and increased profitability
- Must have deep experience in inside sales best practices and building, coaching and mentoring inside sales teams
- Ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline development and management
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed with a passion to succeed
- A creative, out of the box thinker
- Must be analytical and metrics driven through all stages of the sales cycle
