[Editor's note: Zendesk Voice is now Zendesk Talk]
Last week, Twilio hosted its first-ever user conference in San Francisco. Our team, along with several hundred talented developers, had the chance to geek out on the latest happenings with the Twilio API, view exciting new Twilio-based products, and meet the Twilio team. We then gave a quick demo of our recently launched Zendesk Voice offeringpowered by none other than Twilio.
Steven Yan, product manager of Zendesk Voice, delights the crowd with a live product demo at the first-ever Twilio Conference.
Twilios API shares the perfect combination of simplicity and functionality that we strive for in all our products. Weve gone to great lengths to ensure that Zendesk Voice is as simple as it is helpful. To prove it, Steven Yan, product manager of Zendesk Voice, showed the crowd how to provision a phone number and begin taking calls in less than five minutes. It doesnt get much more simple than that.
But the true convenience of Zendesk Voice lies in its flexibility. Incoming calls can be configured to pop up directly in your browser or get routed to an existing landline or mobile phone. Best of all, the details of these calls are logged as tickets into your Zendesk with details and an MP3 recording. Should someone get your voicemail, you even get a transcript of the message in addition to the MP3.
Zendesk Voice Features:
- Automatic call queuing and routing (including hold music, voice greetings, etc.)
- In-browser alerts
- Call activities dashboard (current and historical)
- MP3 recordings of calls and voicemails
- Voicemail transcription
- No setup fees, minimums or extra charges
